The main landmarks of the town are the Arba-Rucun Mosque (Mosque of the four pillars) and the Italian cathedralwhich is built next to the Mosque.These are close to the waterfront. The old city is interesting with its many white houses and small streets.
The beach is nice as well but there are sharks quite often.
Mogadishu is not a city for people who fear.
